The most recent post from SMR asked readers to identify the characteristics of the knowledge thought leader, and the query opened a new line of discussion for those of us working with KM/knowledge services. Networking is key. It doesn’t seem to matter what the topic is, whether one is seeking to innovate, create, or simply move forward with the day-to-day work, the entire management community seems to be talking about networking: personal, professional, electronic social media.
